Barbell Prone Inclined Bicep Curl

Description

Preparation

  • Use an inclined (30°-40°) bench
  • Lie face down (prone) with shoulders in line with top of pad
  • Either rest your knees on the seat or stand with legs either side of bench
  • Grasp a barbell with a underhand shoulder width grip

Action

  • Curl the bar up towards chin
  • The upper arms should remain vertical

Return

  • Lower the bar until the elbow is fully extended
