Barbell Declined Bench Press
Description
Preparation
- Lie on you back on a declined bench
- Grasp the bar with an overhand grip wider than shoulder width
- Dismount the bar from the rack (heavy weights may require someone to help or ‘spot’)
Action
- Lower the weight smoothly until it almost touches the chest
Return
- Smoothly raise the bar without jerking until arms are fully extended
